The layout is thoughtfully designed for relaxation and connection, featuring a main living area with a modern kitchen, inviting living room, and cozy dining space, complemented by a shared bathroom and two welcoming bedrooms on the same level. ***This home does have a steep driveway, this comes along with having an amazing view atop the hill. Please be prepared in the winter months. There are stairs in the home, this is a 3 story home.
~In the winter we keep all of the deck furniture in the garage and it is not available for use. Because of winds and snow we must store the furniture.
Occupancy Rules:
*Min age to rent any property is 25. If you, the credit card holder- person signing the contract- and person responsible for the reservation, rents this house and are not 25, we will cancel the booking and you will not get a refund, no exceptions, you MUST be 25 or older.
*Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines.
*You are only allowed 10 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have.
*Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood.
* Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
**Parking: 5 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house.
*Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow.

I am very sorry that you feel this way. We do not advertise the house with A/C as the majority of homes in the Tahoe are do not have a/c. The driveway is steep and we do have pictures of it.

Than you for renting with us. We are glad that you enjoyed the cabin. Being that the cabin was built in the early 70's and it is a cabin, there are still the original cabin features. The driveway is what it is, that is why there are pictures in the advertising. To get the amazing views at the top of a hill you must deal with the windy roads in the neighborhood and the driveway. Nothing beats the views of the lake from the hot tub and the deck!

I am sorry you did not have these items during your stay. If you had called us during your stay we would have gladly brought those items to you right away. We hope to see you again.

Thank you for staying with us. We are not sure what items are in need of updating. The house itself is a cabin and does have nice bedding and amenities throughout including brand new couches in the living room, new deck table and chairs, and all less than 2 years old... oven/cook top, fridge, and hot tub. We do appreciate the feedback from renters but if there are items that you think are in need of updating we would need more details than just this review. We want our renters to be comfortable and are open to suggestions.

Thank you for staying with us. The new owners of this home have done updating. As of January 2018 there are new couches in the living room, new pots and pans and a few new kitchen items like plates & glasses. We do hope this helps any future guests.

There is no AC and is not advertised with having it. We have a new patio table now and a new fridge on order as of the end of August. The couch folds out to a full size bed. We are glad that you enjoyed your vacation and hope to see you again.
